Sometimes owning and boarding your own orchid collection won't suit your needs. You might want orchids in your home, office, store or salon and need particular spots filled at all times. You don't want to wait for the next orchid in your boarded collection to flower. Or maybe you like orchids but don't want to have to arrange them in decorative pots, water them yourself, or worry if you are doing the right thing. You can draw in customers by showing truly unusual orchids in your salon, or give waiting clients something to enjoy. That's where our long term rental service comes in...

Our rental orchids are chosen from the very best of our collections, and we strive to offer plants that are unusual, fascinating and totally cool. We have amazing orchids of all sizes that we are sure you have never seen before! Here is how this service works:

Our orchid rental program consists of 2 parts

1) Orchid Plants: We charge monthly by the size of the orchid that is required for each area that you designate and will work with you to provide the best options for the areas you want to fill. Trust us to give you our best plants for the spaces you have chosen. Obviously the larger the plant the more impact it will have, but there are lots of very small orchids that can have amazing, beautiful, and fragrant flowers. Small plants are best where you or your clients will have time to look closely at them for example an office desk or a small waiting room. Larger plants work best when you want clients to see them from the street or have lots of people walking by, say a large reception area. We offer orchids that range from fascinating to fabulous!

We are happy to use either our containers (limited types, but no extra charge) or yours and will dress up the plants with branches and live moss including a cork plate to protect the furniture. If we are using your containers we need to keep them at the nursery so we can prepare the plants there.

2) Weekly Maintenance: We require that you to allow us to tend to the plants weekly. We'll arrive on a prearranged day and time to check, water, and clean the plants. We will automatically replace any orchid that is starting to look tired. Checking on the plants every week allows us to use many more fragile orchids that might not normally last more than a week or 2 but that are wonderfully unusual. It also allows us to quickly replace any plant that is finished& before it starts to look finished. The maintenance fee includes up to 5 plants. If more than 5 plants need care the fee increases in increments.

We are delighted to provide this service for a minimum of 3 months to as long as you like. We have clients that have enjoyed this service for many years. It is more expensive than boarding your own collection but gives you a way to have orchids without getting involved in the exact timing of the growth and flowering of each plant. Although beware, when you see some of the orchids we rent you may want to start your own collection!
